The Resort
Jamie took Saturday afternoon to get the resort ready to go for the summer guests. Just kidding. He was setting up the water trampoline and the new floating dock. You remember he bought the dock during the online auction this winter along with the snowmobile.
See Jamie underneath? He's trying to shorten the line attached to the weight so the trampoline doesn't float around so much.
One down, one to go.
I swear this kids would swim all year long if he could.
Josh's boat looks so nice on our shore station. : ) At least someone is getting some use out of it this year.
Here is the new floating dock. Jamie got this in the water and Taylor decided to get up on there and take a look around.
This is a view of the house from the beach.
Taylor likes to get tennis balls that Josh throws out into the lake. Then Jake waits for her and grabs her tail. She drags him back in to shore. Poor girl is pretty tired after doing this a few times.
And the resort toys are all set up ready to go. Jamie did bring the yellow raft in to shore a bit more. Now I can walk out with my book and soda and only have to go waist deep.

Pattison Park and Amnicon Falls
Every Tuesday I join a group of women and we go walking at different places. Most of the time we go to a forest or walking area. Sometimes we go to different areas around us just for something different. One of the ladies planed a trip to Pattison Park, lunch, and then walk some more at Amnicon Falls. We will start with Pattison Park first.

Here are some of the ladies in the group. We call ourselves the North Woods Woman or NoWoes for short.
This is one of the highest waterfalls in WI. It was amazing.

Can you imagine leaving this much land in memory of some one? How amazing.

Here is a set of smaller falls.
Next it was on to the Amnicon Falls.

Memorial Weekend
We headed out for our short Memorial Weekend on Sunday and Jamie wanted to try a back way to I35. As we were coming around a corner he noticed a Bald Eagle on the side of the road. Once we got next to it we noticed it was eating a dead deer. So I made Jamie stop so I could get the camera out of the trunk. Go back around and drive by it again. And this is what I got.
They had goats to pet and feed.
Chickens with here eggs.
Peacocks
This one keeps showing his back side while the female was eating.
Then he finally turned around for us.

They played in the park down there for awhile. Then we decided to head up the hill and look around there. We found another park and let the boys run around there for awhile also.
Once we got to Mankato we needed to clean out the back of the car. You should have seen how gross it was back there. The boys had food every where. So we started to take everything out and vacuum the back seats out. Cody was also there and he showed me how to take the whole back seat out of the car. That was even worse. Yuck. But we got it cleaned up and decided to take the boys to a park to burn off some energy.
Cheryl wanted to take them to Sibley Park. This is where Jim and her would take the boys when they would watch them for us. Both of the boys remembered the park and remembered Jim and Cheryl taking them. If you are ever in Mankato with young kids and need to let them run around I recommend this park. It has a lot of nice stuff for them to do.
First we went around and looked at all the animals.
Peacocks
Then he finally turned around for us.
